A Mommy in the City Packs our Dottie in Her Hospital Bag

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset Lauren Jimeson, aka A Mommy in the City, is one of our favorite writers. She's able to maintain a suburban outlook on motherhood from the heart of NYC - no easy feat. Simply put, we just think she's the greatest. Fortunately we can say that feeling is mutual. She recently opened up her hospital bag on Babble and shared its contents with the world. And we spy our Dottie Tunic & Loungepant among her essentials for the delivery room. Check out her review of our loungewear below!
Giving birth can take a toll on your body. I am usually sore for most of my stay at the hospital, which is why it's so important for me to be comfortable. Since I plan on nursing, I needed clothes that are nursing friendly, but that I could still lounge around in in my hospital bed. I wore Belabumbum after giving birth to my youngest and have worn a lot of their sleepwear throughout the year that I nursed and this pregnancy. I love their navy blue polka dot sleepwear and thought that it was nice enough for me to wear when guests stop by while still being extremely comfortable for me.
Every birth is different, but one fact always remains true: comfort is key. In the delivery and in the years to follow, find the perfect loungewear to make you feel comfy, cozy and warm.
