Bela Spotlight: Kathryn
In the past 11 years we've seen Belabumbum grow into a global brand which reaches thousands of women in all stages of life. While our initial focus wasn't maternity, we quickly realized there was a great need for stylish and comfortable lingerie and loungewear for moms-to-be. Through each new season and countless collections, however, one thing has remained the same: our focus on the woman who wears our products - we call her Bela.
Nothing makes our day more than a positive review or an effusive tweet. We love hearing from women around the world about their experiences with Belabumbum - about how they feel comfortable, feminine and at ease with their new bodies in our lingerie and loungewear. For some time we've wished we could share some of these beautiful stories with you and we recently had a bright idea: why not share them?
A few weeks ago received a gorgeous thank you letter from one Bela who recently discovered our brand and instantly fell in love. We were so touched by her words and had a brilliant idea (two in the span of a couple weeks!). We were planning our latest shoot and looking for a maternity model. This Bela happened to live just a few miles away from our headquarters in Washington, DC. What if we used one of our amazing customers as our model? We've had terrific experiences shooting in New York City with top models, both pregnant and not. But why not shake things up a little?
So that's just what we did!
So without further ado, meet the gorgeous Kathryn, who was gracious enough to be our model for the day! We've got some gorgeous images to share and a little bit more about Kathryn and her experience as a first time mommy-to-be.
