Becoming a first-time mother is a wild and unpredictable journey that no one is every fully prepared for. No matter how many times you hear it, you still can't believe how much you can love another person until you hold your baby for the first time. You also have no idea what little sleep you can run on until your first few nights at home—but that's a story for another time. One way to ease your journey, however, is to prep for all the things you actually have control over.
