a few things that are filling up my happiness cup today: this gifted blushing rose robe as soft as flower petals that will soon become the first garment i nurse her or him in. these little two inch hands that always find their way onto some part of my body every other moment of the day. a hot shower with eucalyptus draped from the shower head. my mama returning from france tomorrow. lilac nail polish. cold fuji apples and yellow watermelon. the butterflies that are forming with knowing i am dating my husband tonight. organizing tiny baby things listening to old favorite artists. yellow autumn leaves that fly in through the windows. candles on the mantle. tart cherry juice from trader joes. spraying rosewater on my face throughout the day. hand sewing late at night. tiny jars for single blooms. driftwood hanging from string. peach dahlias. #backtomybelabumbum
