It’s nice to celebrate the people you love on Valentine’s Day with gestures small and big...but it’s also nice to give a little love to yourself. Why not this year carve out some time to treat yourself, mama? Here are 5 ways to practice self-love this Valentine’s Day ❤︎ Indulgent Spa Night: Light the candles, use your favorite relaxing bath salts or oils and leave all electronics at the door. Read a book or meditate while you wear a face mask. And slip into a super soft robe when you get out. Massage: Treat yourself to a prenatal or postnatal massage - there are so many benefits and if you consider yourself to be a busy person, it’s truly a way to force yourself to slow down. Cook A Fancy Meal: Not going out to dinner? Enjoy a cozy and special meal from the comfort of your own home - but don’t skimp on the menu! Make it special! Get dressed up, or better yet... dressed down in your favorite PJs. Clear Your Mind: Take a yoga class - if that’s not realistic during this phase of life then simply dim the lights, get comfy and find a yoga lesson on YouTube to practice. Or you can meditate! First timer? Try an app like Headspace or Calm to guide you. Treat Yourself To Flowers: It’s nice to be surprised with fresh flowers, but it’s also nice to treat yourself and pick them out :) Wait until the day after Valentine’s when prices are slashed and treat yourself to a bunch of flowers that you can spread out all over your home.
