Pecan Pie recipe

As we start this Thanksgiving week, we’re looking forward to time with family and friends and reflecting on the many things we are grateful for. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for being part of our community. We’re so honored to be part of your motherhood journey and wish you and your families all our very best for the holiday season.

Whether you are planning a large family gathering this year, or keeping it more low key, the smells of Thanksgiving evoke memories of times together with family and friends. While I won't be traveling to spend Thanksgiving day with my mom this year, I will certainly be making her famous pecan pie.

pecan pie evokes holiday memories

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix eggs, sugar, butter, corn syrup and vanilla using a spoon. Stir in pecans. Pour filling into pie crust.
  3. Bake on center rack of oven for 60 to 70 minutes). Cool for 2 hours on wire rack before serving.
  4. Place cookie sheet in oven and preheat oven as directed. Pour filling into frozen crust and bake on preheated cookie sheet.
TIPS: Pie is done when center reaches 200°F. Tap center surface of pie lightly - it should spring back when done. For easy clean up, spray pie pan with cooking spray before placing pie crust in pan. If pie crust is over browning, cover edges with foil. Smother with whipped cream + enjoy!

Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving.

From our table to yours,

Heidi, Founder
